Director, Public Policy
Helen Treadway joined the Alpine Group as a Staff Assistant in July 2023. As a staff assistant, she played a key role in supporting the firm’s work on healthcare, energy, and environmental policy issues, providing logistical coordination and administrative support to ensure seamless operations and strategic engagement. Additionally, Helen assisted with the firm's daily operations, the coordination of office resources, and Alpine Group's many events.
Helen was promoted to Director of Public Policy in November of 2025. In this role, she collaborates closely with clients and policymakers, advising on strategy and conducting policy research across energy, telecommunications, technology, and healthcare fields. Helen also works closely with the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Coalition, serving as the liaison and the main point of support for its government relations team.
Helen graduated from William & Mary in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Psychology. Before joining the Alpine Group, Helen gained valuable experience in both legislative and campaign settings. She worked on multiple Virginia state and local campaigns, contributing to voter outreach, campaign events, and grassroots organizing. She also served as a United States Senate Doorkeeper, managing Senate Gallery and Capitol Visitor Center operations. Before that, she was selected as a Senate Page, where she assisted lawmakers and staff in the daily functions of the Senate chamber.
Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, Helen now resides in Washington, DC.
